The Fire Is Out
Hey friends! This week was the most filler episode of filler episodes. The time just kinda passed and we did things to do things.
Settling Down?
Things are finally getting settled in the office. After a transfer and a half of solving the lingering problems everything has been wrangled in and solved. When I got to the office 10 weeks ago (yes it has already been 10 weeks) I was thrown into a raging fire with no clue what was going on, where the problems came from, or how to solve them. It took a minute but I can confidently say I am able to breathe now. It has been really satisfying to get to the point that there aren’t any problems but it has had me questioning “well now what?” a few times. This week I went looking for things I can clean up, organize, and make more efficient to avoid future problems. A little less adventurous but will help out so that no one has to worry about a million things at once like Elder Allen and I did. I have learned so much and that makes me so happy. I also am just a little proud of the team we have in the office and that we were able to take the raging fire, contain it, and put it out.
Conferência
We had a zone conference this week (completely forgot about it) and it was super good. We changed the layout and now it is a lot more testimony and missionary based. I love it. It was weird though because there was no one there, usually there were 130-140 people at conferences and now there are about 50-60 people. One of the nice things about that was that everything was much more intimate and personal. Also I got to have some good conversations with my best friends. One of my favorite things as a missionary is the ministering we do to other missionaries. We are all in this together, it doesn't work to leave others struggling in silence. Also a nice thing about working close with President is I get to check on him too. President was doing interviews and I went in to talk about a think we were working on and I walk in and he just looked cooked. He stood up and gave him a big hug and asked if he was doing good. I love him. We ended up staying there for a little bit to clean somethings, chat, and handle some business. Out of nowhere Sister Andrade made us all popcorn. It was super funny. But yeah that was a zone conference.
Random Projects and Things
I spent 3 hours re-setting up our Uber Business account so that it was set up properly.
I had a super random division this week. Started at 6:30pm and ended at 7:30am. Life in the office.
Next week's project is to reorganize our server! It's going to be so much work but so so worth it.
Brazil lost and São Paulo was dead silent. We also weren't allowed to watch the game and stayed inside studying for three hours. After we gave up studying we played some card games which were awesome.
We had lunch with a member and watched a bit of the World Cup and oh my gosh I miss the gameday adrenaline.

One thing I heard a lot this week was “Behold, there are many called, but few are chosen.” (D&C 121:34). So how are we chosen? By having eyes single to the glory of God. This is something that I have grown a testimony of so strong on the mission. As we do everything with the desire to carry out his work He calls us and trusts us to be His hands on Earth. That is my brief but important thought for today.
Sorry to those that were waiting for an adventurous email. Unfortunately it was nothing crazy this week. This next week probably won't be either. The week after that though… we head back to the craziness!! I am excited. I hope you are doing well! I hope you all celebrated the Fourth of July a little extra for me. I missed it. Write me!
