Welcome to the Mission Blog
In March of 2025, I decided to serve a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It wasn’t an easy decision and one that has required a lot of sacrifice, but in turn I have witnessed so many miracles and received many blessings. Stay up to date with me and my mission on this blog or fill out the form below to get added to my email list. :)
Promises and Understanding
Hey friends! This week was interesting to say the least. It all started with zone conference, then it was rent week which is always fun, followed by; one of those “I can’t tell you about” events that practically made up 48 hours of my life, appliance shopping, writing some reports, some visits, the best planning session of my mission, Church, and yeah, so overall a pretty normal week. Now you are gonna keep reading to see if I let something slip aren’t you? Spoiler alert: I don’t… maybe.
The Fire Is Out
Things are finally getting settled in the office. After a transfer and a half of solving the lingering problems everything has been wrangled in and solved. When I got to the office 10 weeks ago (yes it has already been 10 weeks) I was thrown into a raging fire with no clue what was going on, where the problems came from, or how to solve them. It took a minute but I can confidently say I am able to breathe now. It has been really satisfying to get to the point that there aren’t any problems but it has had me questioning “well now what?” a few times.
Houston, We Have a Problem
Hey friends! Welcome back to another week in the office or, for a more accurate description, mission control of mission São Paulo Leste. Why mission control, because every problem, even if it's not financially, passes by us and we often get to be the ones to solve it. You thought last week was crazy? Well you're right however… someway omehow… this week was even crazier. We were getting calls left and right of things that needed to be done, changed, or solved. Trainings, material runs, 2 zone conferences, emergency transfers, audit preparation, this week was non-stop. To preface this email: I love my APs so much and I love my calling as a secretary. I am not complaining, solely telling y'all all the adventures I have.
The Light at the End of the Tunnel
Hey friends! Jesus Christ and P-Day. Those are the two lights at the end of the tunnel. This was a long week with a lot of walking (surprise surprise) and not a lot of finding but hey we made it through.
